Name: Timmy Country: United States State: California Metro: Orange County Birthday: 9/8/1984 Gender: Male
Interests: Other people's thoughts on life interest me. So does Disneyland. And good music. Photography's up there. Good writing. Cinammon Toast Crunch. Having 3 hour one-on-one conversation with anyone at Starbucks. I do my best to help, nay, serve those around me, regardless of who you are and what you do. My relationship with God is of the utmost importance. I mean seriously, how can you watch the beauty of a sunset, or gaze at the snow-capped mountains, and not wonder how all of this beauty came to be? These things interest me. Expertise: Eating food. Oh, and listening to other people talk. I'm better at listening than I am at carrying on a conversation. Driving my car all the way to the beach just to take one picture. Doing my best to make those around me smile. Making super duper In-N-Out fries, and hopefully burgers soon. Other than that, I don't know. Occupation: Student Industry: Media

| 5 years. Wow. Unbelievable actually. But it has been that long. And now, I'm officially closing this chapter in my life. I actually haven't been posting on Xanga for a while now, but that's because I decided to start over on Blogger. Nothing big, for the moment, but I dunno. And I'm not shutting this one down, too many memories to be lost here. But I probably won't be posting on here again after this.
Anyways, its been fun. If anyone wants to check out the new blog, just ask. I'm too lazy and tired at the moment to link the page.
Oh yeah. Happy Valentine's Day :).
| I must admit, I do love finding old pictures of myself: | | |
| Argh, I hate procrastinating. Yet I do it all the time. Pretty big reason on why this thing hasn't been updated in a long time. I really ought to start focusing more. Anyways, this entry will just be a placeholder for now. To be honest, this is a copy of a bulletin I put up on my myspace a couple days ago, but I think its worth reposting here for those who aren't I don't have the luck of being a friend with on Myspace. So last Friday, our church hosted a special event featuring Nick Vujicic, our guest speaker for the night. Here's a picture that I took of him:

Yes,
he really has no arms or legs. And yet, he has already done so much
with what he doesn't have, than a lot of us will be able to do even
with our limbs. He's used what he DOESN'T HAVE to spread God's message
of LOVE to thousands around the world.

Which
begs the question: if this man can live a life to the fullest for God
(the same God who chose not to give him arms and legs), then shouldn't
we be doing so much more with our lives with the limbs that God gave us?

I think its just awesome, just watching him, and seeing all the things he's able to do, even when he shouldn't be able to. This is an example of a man who is definitely not wasting his life. Although, if you think about it, he had every reason to believe that he wouldn't be living a full life. I mean, for a man who was born without limbs, you'd think his life would be very limited. Then you find out he's got not one, but two bachelor's degrees. He travels all around the world. Did you know he can drive? Simply amazing. I can only hope, that at the end of the day, I'm living my life just as full as Nick is.
If you'd like to see more pictures of the events, just head on over to my Flickr

| Some back alley, 8-07. Thanks to Noy and Daniel. Hopefully part of an ongoing series. Comments, compliments, and critiques are all welcome.
Oh wow.
It has just been brought to my attention that my question was selected for Xanga's Featured Question.
Cool.
In other news. I'm kinda excited about Nikon's new announcement of their new DSLR's. Yes, that's kind of geeky, but aren't we all allowed one geeky thing in life?
I want their new D300. Doesn't come out til November, and it costs $1800 MSRP. So...... I'll be accepting lots of cash for my upcoming birthday.
Going to the beach today. Sadly, I'm kind of tired, so I don't really want to go. But then I think of all the other poor states that have to live without the luxury of having a beach in their backyard. I'm blessed. So for all of you 30 something states without a real beach, I'm going to the beach for you. And I'm going to enjoy it, dangit!
For those of you who live by a beach, what do you guys do there? For those of you who don't, where do you guys go for entertainment/relaxation?
